It was a crazy night :)

Last Friday me and Takuji,Ryoko,Mari,Haruka,Keiko,Yoshi san ,Wayne,Jen,Tylor,Jimmy,and......well..anyways a lot of people were in Big Wave.We threw a birthday party for Ben who wouldn't be Japan in a couple of days.
At first we were supposed to go have dinner with Ben but then some of us didn't go which I kinna felt bad for him . But then we met up with them eventually and it was a great fun. The pic above is where we were tipsy and feelin' pretty good. We took a pose of the "my mind is elsewhere" sort of thing. which i had absolutely no idea why i was doin' that . I guess i just went with the flow. When we first started singing , some of us said they wanted to use another room since they thought they couldn't really sing as many songes as they ususally do. which i kinna hoped they'd stay in the room. But then for some reason they came back in like 30 minutes. I was like "Yes" The party came alive in the middle ...and then oh..the funny thing was that it occured to me that i wanted to take as many pictures as possible for some reason....So i pulled out my camera and came up to Takuji and took a picture of him makin' faces.. His eyes were obviously out of focus and starin' at somewhere..It was so funny i fell down on the floor and just cracked up for like 30 seconds. I'm sure if i had been sober , I definately wouldn't acteyd like that..haha When we were in the elevator on our way home , we were all wasted all of a sudden somebody started pushing and shoving each other . we were like totally out of control . That's not the whole story. In fact because somebody pushed the bottom of the different floor unconsciously so that some of us accidentally got out of it and rushed out of it. We pulled him back and we got to the first floor eventually. I ended up staggering . i was whacked out. Plus someone was shouting for help cos some people lifted her up and carried ...which i didn't really care at the time cos i was almost snoozing and drifting off. I slept until 12 oclock on the next day . I had a bad stomachache as always.

Last weekend

I dont know for sure ... but my life's been going well... I been havin so much fun lately... This is like the coolest time EVER. well...I went to the Chinese restaurant last weekend that's in the same building as Torikizoku. It was "All u can eat" I almost starved to death (which I hadn't had lunch on the day) When I saw this great big Gyoza , I was almost slobbering .( which I wasn' ....really...)
anyway .. I pigged out and guzzled them all...I was all " Oh boy...I can't move anymore.." and in like 30 minutes later ..I glanced at my friends...they were still eating.. (which literally freaked me out)And then I went straight home and then again I went back there for some reason and ended up blowing off the steam at karaoke ....haha It was a great fun except it was tough to pace back and forth from my house to the restaurant...for real...

Kiyomizu

I had a really good time last weekend. On the last Saturday I went to Karaoke with my friends for the first time in maybe 1 month . I blew everything off there. I was actually there for like 2 hours. But it was sooo fast. It was like "Time Flies" . I had 6 bottotles of beers and took one shot.I was so wasted my friend took me to my place which Im extremely thankful for him. Seriouslty I have no idea whzuat i was saying. All I can remember is I was mumbling to him and meddling to him on the phone . It was such a disaster. But all in all it was a great fun. huh...

On the last Sunday, I went over to Kiyomizu. which went miserably. Me and my friends decided we'd go there earlier in the morning. To make long story short...we ended up bein' lost in such a rural place. Plus one of my friens had a stomach ache on a bus. Anyway...we played it by ear. SOMEHOW we got there . Luckly, we met up with Mari and Ryoko in Koyomizsu!!!! It was sooo much fun. Plus some people were so hyper.huh
I took tons of pictures of colored leaves and Kiyomizu. those were like the coolest pictures EVER!!
That was the only time I felt lucky I was born in Japan. Kiyomizu rocks!!!huh

Kyushu!

I went back to Kyushu for only three days.It felt sooo good to be home. I actually went there to see how my granpa'd been doing.
Nothing hadn't really changed except the English school that I'd go to in high school was closed. On my way back home from Saga station , I dropped by there to see if the school actually had closed...I was knid of scared if no one had already gone back to their own countries ...It turns out no one was there.. I kind of knew the whole school had completely closed but I wished I could've say hi to staffs there deep down inside. A lot's changed in a couple of months. It's just simply unbelieble that the most reputable school has disappeared in a few months. It's just sad. I'll look on the bright side . NOVA was such an extremely fun place for me . I kind of blowed off the steam there.huh Since I was sick and tired of my highschool teachers. If it hadn't been for NOVA, I definately could't have had fun. some say it's ripped off and it's just a waste of money. But for me it was a great fun.Plus,It heped me study English.|0|
The woman in the pic above is my older sister. It'd been quite a while since we met last. It was a lot of fun talikin and watching grase anatomy !! It rocks. I bet you should watch the show!!!Just for the record...The TV show won the Golden Glove award last year.

Respose to the article

Today I’m going to talk about the article .
The author starts off with the question of why the U.S. and England and French can posses the atomic bombs and other countries can not posses the atomic bombs. What’s more, why only the.U.S has the right to decide whether or not certain countries can have the atomic bombs and certain countries can not have them. He doubts whether or not The.U.S can actually have the sense to judge those sorts of significant problems. The author also cast stones at the.U.S by mentioning why they are still stick around in Iraq and Afghanistan and what is the use staying there in spite of the fact that The.U.S. has already killed Saddam Hussein .

And also the author warns the readers the it’s the U.S that’s hung up on the war in Iraq and makes the wave. And the author finishes with the comment that says it is the duty of humanity to against the.U.S. The author, at this point, tries to tell us the readers that it is natural we suspect what the U.S. is doing by mentioning the duty of humanity.

The author ends up convincing the readers by saying it will be too late if we do not star acting against the U.S.

Respose to the article

This is today's article

Today I want to talk about the article.

The article is about fingerprinting. Japan has decided to start a new measure that takes every visitor's fingerprint to Japan in order to prevent evil terrorists from coming to Japan .

Justice ministry decided to set up the measure. It takes place on November 20.

My opinion
I think taking fingerprints are not that big a deal considering you can survive from a terrorist attack only by doing such a easy procedure. Just think about you being in the world trade center and such a big plane coming to the building and ending up being dead. If you truely do not want such a tragedy to happen ever, you'll naturally do not think such a simple procedure is against human rights or anything. I fact, America started taking fingerprints right after 9/11. However it provoked controversy. I'm not saying that caring about human rights is an unreasonable idea at all. But if you do not want to be one of those victims, you’ll naturally think taking fingerprints is a pretty good idea.

My respose to the article.

This is the article that six people mention about which minority groups face the most discrimination.
And each one of them tries to convince the audience differently.

Mike Dewood makes some comments about the discrimination he's had in the past.

It's not that I've actually seen or gone through or anything like that but I've heard somebody was talking about people in Nagasaki don't really like the US army .
For one thing , some of those US armies have a night out and make a noise outside the place where they usually live and work. And for another ,incredibly, some of those US armies stand still to pick up some Japanese getting off work . So a lot of people there skeptically look at the US army as if they always come up to the people there . So there are more or less mistrusts inside of the people toward the US army other than just discrimination .

I personally think in this case the discrimination from Dewood's point of view is slightly different from the one from people's points of view in Nagasaki. Because there are at least some reasons why they look at the US armies as they look at outcasts. I'm not saying the people are not discriminating against the US army at all. But it's a matter of the behavior the US army does . The behavior simply make the people feel annoyed. One thing I thought it was going too far in his comments was that he mentions some Americans are discriminated. I think the people do not discriminate against them but the people just simply feel annoyed about the behavior.

Response to four marines investigated for rape.

It doesn't matter if you don't judge marines too fast or not. The thing is if the four marines actually raped the woman or not. As far as Manuel Sandoval goes, seems like he's just getting away with the fact that the four raped the woman by mentioning if the US military were to leave Japan , everyone in Japan would get in deep trouble dealing with the North Korea problems and the China problems. The point is if some of the military members actually raped or not. He is getting off the track. The fact that he chages the point the article says means in fact he more or less admits the four military did raped the woman ,in a sense. So he's saying the US military helps Japan deal with these problems and plays a significant role so that sex crime like that is acceptable. This is the article .

The way Kevin Egan persuades us is that he refutes Manuel by mentioning having military basis around the world does not mean soliders can have the freedom of what they want. And the freedom includes rape. He doesn't mention it is wrong that the US military plays an important role in Japan but Kevin does not think it's right the US military gets snobby and feels superior over Japan just because the US military helps Japan a lot. This is the article.

The reason why I'm in IES

This is a picture of Montreal.
IES is a great chance for me to brush up my English. There's so many reasons why I take part in IES. One of the reasons is that I want to prepare for study abroad in two years. I'm thinking of going to Canada , Montreal where you can speak both English and French. Before entering Kansaigaidai , I was actually thinking of going to university where I can only study French. But I was worried that my English would get worse. So I came to this University and decided to take IES. Now I feel extremely thankful to Kansaigaidai for giving me the opportunity to take IES. Otherwise Im a hundred percent sure that I would be stunned and stressful for the level of what other students' English are.(No trying to be arrogant).I feel just simply happy to be able to study what I've always wanted to do in such a great environment. The environment's always been motivating me .

Also I was incredibly excited about what was going to be like to study English with remarkable teachers. I mean , I'd often go to English conversation school . And it's not that the teachers that taught me English there were bad , which I'm extremely thankful for them being friendly and hanging out with literally every weekend . But thoes what it's called "teachers" are just from English speaking countries.( No offense) Actually the way they'd teach English was a little sloppy . I was skeptically studying in a way. So I was hoping I could have a teacher that doesn't only teach English conversation but also something you can't study there.

Honestly, I'm extremely thankful to you for giving us interesting topics every time. Certainly I want to keep studying in IES. This is the link to a huge music festival in Montreal.

Come on................Not again.....

Well.. I got turned down again....give me a break.... What should I do.. I thought I could get the job.. in fact last weekend I waited so long for a call from the drugstorte. To make a long story short... they never gave me a call. I was all...How dare you turn me down.....anyway I'll take the high road. I dont give a shit.

Im goona introduce you to one of my favorite bands called FALL OUT BOY
I guess they made their debut about like three years ago. Their songs are not that heavy but catchy. One of my favorite songs is called " Thanks for the memory". For the record, the guy who is a scary looking guy is going out with Ashlee Simpson. You might think the monkeys suck but the song is cool right ? Whoever watches this should go check their albums. They've got a lot more great songs .

Part time job

I've been looking for a part time job for quite a while . So I looked through a magazine that offers a lot of part time jobs. and then I actually didn't care what kind of job I was goona get. The point was that I wanted to make enough money to go on a trip to Canada this spring. That's what matters. As far as I saw a picture of the store I was gonna work was not that bad. So I called the store and promised I'd go have a job interview last Sunday. On the day , I went over there but the thing was that all the staff were in some kinds of tacky orange caps and green aprons. I was stunned. I seriously never thought I' d wanna work there . To make a long story short ....I canceled the job interview at the last minute. It was the most awkward situation ever.

I'm now thinking of working at a drugstore . An hourly wage is 900 yen. I hope I'll get a job by this month. I gotta work....Actually I went over to Kadoma to have the job interview last night. And I got back home at around 10 pm. Hopefully, I'll get a call from the drugstore soon.

Respons

I’m personally very interested in the article. I believe those incredibly difficult issues that we have frequently make us annoying .For me every time I watch some politicians comments in the press , those situations always make me wonder if those politicians actually really understand the loanwords . Considering that people studying English hard like me also sometimes find them difficult to understand, I wonder how ordinary people try to get the meaning of those sentences. I agree with the sentence that quotes “ some people use the loanwords to show off” I think that’s silly they think the loanwords are cooler than the words people use just because not so many people don’t know the meanings of the words. In fact, things like that often happen in a daily life. For example when I was having dinner with my family and watching a TV show. And there was this comedian and said He is “ interi” And then I could get the meaning of the word by shortening a word “ intelligent”. It is obvious that I couldn’t have got it if I hadn’t studied English. My mother and father asked me what the meaning of the word. Fortunately my sister knew the word. It was probably the most awkward situation ever.
It is pretty hard to understand the loanwords. But from young people’s point of view , once you know how to use the loanwords it is so useful to convey a message quickly . Also I personally think it sounds more natural to use the loanwords than to use ordinary formal words. Because sometimes what we usually use in a daily conversation is a little bit formal. In other words those words are uncool. For example if you want to say introvert in Japanese, it would be better for young people to say INDOAHA. Otherwise it would sound too formal.

My summer vacation

It was a good vacation except for the fact that I had to spend almost like a whole month at driving school. In fact I was not goona go to driving school because I knew it would take me almost like the whole vacation and I didn't want to ruin my vacation. But finally My mother made me go there . What I couldn't understand there is that they charge everyone 300000 yen for driving school. I really freaked out. I'm sure a lot of people think it's ripped off. Fortunately I got a driver's license in a month and a half. It felt so good when I drove all the way from driving school to my house right after I got the driver's license. I hope I won't forget all the thing I've learned

I went to Karatsu beach which is the most famous beach in Saga. My friends from junior highschool and I were thinking of watching the national highcshool basketball championship . But the game finished a little earlier than we had expected. So We went there. It was the first week of August . But the thing was that we didn't bring our bathing suits. So we were lying on the beach and chilling for a while. And after that we got bored just looking at the beach so we jumped into the ocean with our clothes on. It was so much fun. The picture up there is a nest of a gross, disgusting pigeon. Just the thought of pigion living in my balcony makes me break out in a cold sweat. Well.. The surprising thing was that the pigion had already laid an egg. I was seriously shocked and confused. Besides, When I saw the nest, there was a bunch of black stuff. I looked into it closely and it was then that I realized that it was a body of a young bird. I was like ..Come on .. give me a break...I was exhasted. My sisters were shouting and screaming wildly. We kind of left the stuff and our minds were elsewhere for a while. Finally we decided by janken. And I was the one who lost. Honestly that was the shocking moment ever. There's nothing more disgusting than touching a body of a bird ...(Don't get me wrong ! I touched it with rubber gloves on.) And then I throw away the egg . The silver lining, there was no droppings on the floor. Actually this is not the first time to put away a nest. Probably some of my classmates know the story.Anyway I seriously hope such an annoying pigion will never come back to my balcony EVER!! So Does anyone know the best way to keep pigions away from my balcony? Please tell me some tip . Well...My sisters and I came up with a good idea. We thought it would work if we put a bunch of tins on the balcony. I'm actually a hundred percent sure it will work. Don't you think ??

French is awesome~

As I mentioned before, I've been a huge fan of SIMPLEPLAN . Surprisingly, they speak both French and English.Because they're from Montreal in Canada.People there speak both . I've never been there but I'll definitelly go in the near future. Recently I went to their blog and watched their interview. What surprised me was they were all speaking English . I couldn't believe what was happening. In fact it was then that I realized they could speak French .It was the shocking moment I've ever had in my whole life. The way they talk in French was so cool they made me wanna speak English. I gotta admit I've actually started learning French on my own . It is way difficult for me though... I seriously hope they will come to Japan. You should listen to their songs .I insist. It's worth it.

DANCING PARTY

I went to a club at Tenma to see Yuri Yoshida and Hitomi Tsuchida and Takuji dancing
on the last saturday with friends. I had a radical time . It was quite a bash.
And after that we went to a KARAOKE .We had a couple of drinks and had some light snacks. Those were sweet.I felt tipsy. And we almost stayed up all night at there. On my way back home, I was so drowsy and it took twice as much time as usual from HIRAKAT STATION to my house.

Religion

Recently, I had a talk about religion with one of my friends from America. He is religious. He asked me if I believed in God. And then I was really worried about how he'd think of me if I had said like "I dont believe in God. "And I said like that . But he didn't look at me like the way I thought he would. It seemed like to me that he just wondered why I thought like that. And I couldn't answer to the question. Cos I'd never thought about it seriously . It was a really awkward situation.I was at lost for words. How would you guys answer to the question?

skateboard

Today I want to tell you about what I'd always wanted to do until junior high.
Actually , I'd always wanted to be a pro scateboarder until I bumped my head on the floor. In today's calss , Scott said we were gonna have to give presentation about unique jobs. And once I saw the lists, I chose a pro skateboarder in no time. Cos that was always sorta something I'd wanted to do. I was like "Totally!! " I guess it's gonna be fun. Actually..I was just kinnda worried about my partner would say "No" But fortunatelly he said it was OK. I hope it's gonna go well.
I'm gonna give it a shot!!!!!

Baby hatch

Here is an article that someone is against

She uses an Authority by telling that she's been working with children and parents for 20 years. She emphasizes that she knows the real state of the hospital.and she wants everyone to know that she's thought it over , considering what's really happening in the place she's working for a long time.

Here is an article that someone is against

It's about an event that a juniorhigh school boy and a junirhigh girl abandoned their child . The article gives us factual information. It's effective for a lot of people. The event that's full of factual information influence a lot of people.

I think..
I agree with the article " Baby hatch is not the answer.

I think baby hatch will decrease the number of children being abandened and it's likely that a great number of children's life will be saved. But I don't think it's that simple. Things would be complicated as time passes. I mean.. Just because saving children's life once doesn't necessarily mean we save children drastically. I'm sure the children eventually would be shocked mentally if the children realized that their parants abandoned them . I just think baby hatch would make things worse. It seems like it's a good idea seemingly. But I don't think it's as simple as that.

This is the Jamie Cullum's official site. you can go and check him out!!

The second Jazz singer is Jon Mayor. Most of his songs, actually, are more like blues than Jazz. But he play both and sometimes mix Jazz with Blues. I found him for the first time when I was watching the "Grammy Awards". then I rushed to TSUTAYA and got his CD.
This is his official wedsite.

Let me tell you about one of my dreams. I really wanna go NY to see and listen to a real, genuine Jazz. and I waana talk to them and have a lot of fun out there.
I've been playing the guitar for about 4 months. I gotta admit I didn' really stick to it. It never took off. But NOW sinceI've got a lot of time to practice.. So I guess I'm gonna give it a shot again.

Jazz

Today, let me tell you about Jazz which is one my favorite kinds of music.
To be honest, I like Jazz most recently. I'm going to introduce two Jazz singers to you.
The first singer I really like is "Jamie Collum" He made his verve debut at age 26-year-old's.It was a world wide smash. Personally his creativity blew me away. Most of his songs are basically related to Jazz, but he sometimes get off the track on purpose . he has such a great ability to make Jazz change and mix it with other kinds of music like Pop..or Rock and stuff. I mean.. He has a versatile singer. He can play the guitar ,and the piano, etc..
I bet you guys would like his songs.
I'll show him playing " MindTick" which I like most .Seriously, I recommend you.

I love SimplePlan

This is my favorite band "SimplePlan"
They are such a great band. Seriously I recommend you guys to get their CD.
I've been addicted to them ever since I was in highschool. At the time I was fed up with my school life and wanted to get away from the reality. I heard one of their songs while I was chillin' at my bed. The song was called " Shut Up!! " I was like "This is exactly what I wanted to listen to " That song described exactly how I felt . It was CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll tell you guys a little bit about the lyrics.
" Seems like everyday I make mistake . I just can't get it right~ It's like I'm the one you love to hate~ " That exactly how I was feeling . Now..looking back ...it really saved my life...seriously..

Trip to America

Recently My sister gave me a call out of the blue and asked me to go on a trip to America . I was like "Oh !! Really !! Sounds great !!'' I've been so excited .
but we haven't decided where we wanna go . It's up in the air. Personally, I wanna go to LA. cos I've been watching "THE OC" that was shot at there . I wanna see what it's like to live in LA.

2007年5月8日火曜日

Target Target is not only young people who have started University and are looking for cute girls and want to go out with a cute girl but also older people who want to see a lot of cute girls and want to eat soup.

Authority Authority is a lot of cute girls are in class and waliking in a beautiful way outside school. The more there are cute girls ,the more guys will see the commercial.

Emotion A lot of cute girls are on the commercial but they have ugly voices .For example, a lot of cute girls are boosting a soccer team and they are shouting and screaming with ugly voices. and then they get thirsty. so They eat the soup. the situation they are having makes audience wanna eat that soup.

Logical The audience can easily see the importance of the voice by watching it.The word "AJINOMOTO STADIUM" tells us that its about AJINOMOTO and the AJINOMOTO company has a lot of consumers and teh company is so popular that everyone loves it.

Evaluation Personally, I really like this commercial. because Its so funny . the guy expected all the cute girls to have adorable voices. But it was not . I think most of the guys would be disappointed and laugh at it.
People who dont care about girls wouldn't like it . It's only targeted at guys .

I give it 7 . Because the audience is narrow . and Audience doesn't easily get what this commercial is about until the ending . I think that's a interesting point in this commercial . and I really like the idea of cute girls having ugly voices . That's so funny .

Introduction

Hi! I' m Hiro. I'm really happy to study what I wanna do. I'm thinkin' of studyin' abroad for two years. It' gonna be really tough. But I'm gonna give it a shot.

To be honest , I hate typin'. But I can't help but do that. Unfortunately I deleted all of my essay in the last class. I was like ''Oh .....shit !! come on !!!. It was the worst dat ever.
