I agree with the article " Baby hatch is not the answer.
I think baby hatch will decrease the number of children being abandened and it's likely that a great number of children's life will be saved. But I don't think it's that simple. Things would be complicated as time passes. I mean.. Just because saving children's life once doesn't necessarily mean we save children drastically. I'm sure the children eventually would be shocked mentally if the children realized that their parants abandoned them . I just think baby hatch would make things worse.It seems like it's a good idea seemingly. But I don't think it's as simple as that.

I thnk so too. The idea does not solve the problem that there are some parents who abandon their babies. To save a life is imoportant, but to prevent abandoning is more important, I think.
I guess many people think that baby hatch is not good.....
However, personaly, I think baby hatch may not be the best answer,but it can at least save children's lives. You have wrote that it could lead to worse situation, but as long as people living, they can over come things.
So I think it is still a good idea...
I think baby hatch could be a temporary measure to the abandonment of babies. If anyone did nothing, things would get worse. Just to save their lives, on this point, baby hatch is the best answer, I suppose.
